Danny Logue honored for 50 years of fire service

(Cheyenne) – Lander Volunteer Firefighter Danny Logue was honored at the Wyoming State Legislature this past week for having served 50 years in the fire service. Logue was recognized in the house chambers as he and two other honorees, Gene Diedtrich of Newcastle and Byron Bennett of Meeteetse, sat in the gallery. In the Senate, however, Logue and the others were invited to the floor to receive recognition there. Additionally, Logue was presented with a plaque by Governor Matt Mead in a private ceremony in the Governor’s office.

Attending the event was Lander Fire Administrator Nick Hudson and his predecessor and former Fremont County Commissioner Lanny Applegate.
