Friday’s police blotter: Arrests; One vehicle rollover near Red Canyon
Two arrests were reported in the past 24 hours that ended at 7 a.m. Friday, according to Captain C. T. Smith. They were: Kenneth Shakespeare, 26, Arapahoe, public intoxication; and Dana Eagle, 35, Riverton, public intoxication.
Fremont County Sheriff
County deputies reported one arrest, Ruth Sunrhodes, 30, Arapahoe, failure to appear.
Several traffic crashes were reported in the past 24 hours, including a single vehicle rollover on Highway 28 just west of the Red Canyon Overlook Thursday morning at 11:06 a.m. The Wyoming Highway Patrol said a 2003 model Fort pickup truck driven by David Alley, 34, Riverton rolled. Minor injuries were reported and the highway was closed for a short time to clear the wrecked vehicle from the roadway.
A vehicle versus post incident apparently occurred in the 200 block of Burma Road sometime overnight. In the latter incident, the vehicle involved left the scene.
Deputies are also investigating the theft of a large sum of money from a residence near Riverton.
Lander Police Department
Arrests reported by the LPD were: Maude Capitan, 42, Fort Washakie, driving while under the influence; Jonetta Seminole, Arapahoe, failure to appear; Tashina Birdshead, Ethete, failure to appear.
