Public Meeting to be held on Long-Term Water Option in Pavillion May 31st

(Pavillion, Wyoming) –  Governor Matt Mead and the Director of the Wyoming Water Development Office are announcing a public meeting to discuss a possible plan for supplying water to residents outside of Pavillion in Fremont County.

The meeting will take place on May 31st from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the Wind River High School in Pavillion. Mike Purcell, the Director of the Wyoming Water Development Office, and Governor Mead’s Natural Resources Policy Advisor, Jerimiah Rieman, will discuss the various options to supply water and seek input on the legislation that passed this year. That bill provides $750,000 for installation of cisterns.
