(Lander, Wyo.) – County 10 is a proud sponsor of this year’s Lander Brew Festival. Taking place at the soccer fields next to Lander Valley High School, 24 brewing companies will be present. “It started as a really really small event right in front of the Chamber I think 12 years ago and it’s grown every single year,” said Jeff Young, Lander Chamber Ambassador.

New this year, on Friday night only is whiskey and wine sampling. Miner’s Delight Inn from Atlantic City is on hand, with a variety of four different single malt scotch whiskeys. “The director of the chamber asked us if we’d be willing to do a whiskey tasting here and support the brew fest, sounded like a lot of fun to us, so absolutely,” said Bob Townsend.

Grand Teton Brewing Company out of Victor Idaho is also on hand, serving up four of their beers including their Howling Wolf, Lost Continent, Sweetgrass and…”We’re also featuring our Teton Ale which is a Amber Ale and it’s actually the brewery’s first beer ever produced back in 1988,” said Conner Watkins.

Fridays events wrap up at 9 o’clock, and Saturday the brew fest will run from two to seven.  For those of you who aren’t sure if the brew fest is on your agenda, Bob Townsend says “Just come out to the brew fest, it seems like it’s going to be a great time.” Conner Watkins adds “We consider the Teton Valley one of the best places to brew beer, so come on out and try some good beer.”
