Thayer’s preliminary hearing continued, now scheduled in March

(Riverton, Wyo.) – A Fort Washakie man who has been jailed in connection with a knife assault on a woman on February 10th at a motel in Riverton has had his preliminary hearing continued.
Heto Herman Thayer made his initial appearance in Fremont County Circuit Court in Riverton on Feb. 11, but his preliminary hearing set Wednesday was continued to the first or second week of March, according to court officials.
Thayer is charged is charged with intentionally stabbing Kimberly Potter in the back in the early morning hours of Feb. 10th, an injury which caused one of Potter’s lungs to collapse.
