Brooks Lake and Pinnacle campgrounds to remain closed this summer
(Dubois, Wyo.) – Two campgrounds on the Wind River Ranger District of the Shoshone National Forest will remain closed during the upcoming summer months so hazard trees can be removed, according to a forest news release issued today.
To ensure public safety, the Brooks Lake and Pinnacle campgrounds, as well as the Brooks Lake dispersed camping area, will remain closed this summer. Work will be performed within the campgrounds to remove the numerous dead and dying trees within them.
