Selt belt use saved teen driver from injury in rollover

(Riverton, Wyo.) – A 19 year old Riverton woman escaped serious injury, after her 2001 GMC sedan rolled two and one half times on Paradise Valley Road Wednesday night, according to Fremont County Undersheriff Ryan Lee.

In a statement released this morning, Lee said the woman’s vehicle “left the roadway and then overcorrected causing the rollover. The woman was wearing a seatbelt during the collision; she was evaluated by EMS on scene and did not require transport to the Hospital.”

Lee said the investigating Deputy is still completing the State Collision report at this time. The Deputy did advise that alcohol was not a factor in the incident.
