Riverton Construction Updates: Hill Street Closure on Riverview Project to end Saturday noon
(Riverton, Wyo.) – The Wyoming Department of Transportation’s weekly updates on Riverton highway improvement projects is posted below:
— Installation of storm sewer is progressing as planned on Hill Street in Riverton on the $2.8 Riverview highway improvement project. The closure of Hill Street is helping the contractor, Jerry Bornhoft Construction, Inc., of Riverton to accelerate work on Hill Street. Hill Street is scheduled to reopen to traffic by noon Saturday.
South Federal/East Monroe:
— Installation of storm sewer, sanitary sewer and fresh water lines are progressing between Washington Avenue and Monroe Avenue in Riverton on west half of the $5.04 million South Federal Boulevard/Monroe Avenue highway improvement project. Archer Construction crews are working toward finishing this work by the end of this work week. Tentatively, curb and gutter concrete pours may begin as early as this coming week on the east side of South Federal Boulevard. Archer Construction continues to make good progress on utility installation on East Monroe Avenue. The closure of East Monroe Avenue continues. Citizens are reminded to access East Monroe Avenue via East Park Avenue or Webbwood Road. All businesses are open on East Monroe Avenue and South Federal Boulevard, and all business accesses are being maintained.
