Tuesday, June 17
Forest Service Wildlife Program – A National Forest Service wildlife program, focused around forest fires, will be presented at Dennison Lodge starting at 7 p.m.
Wednesday, June 18
Nature Hunt – The second Summer Reading program invites children ages 12 and under to explore the Riverton library’s very own backyard. Collect your findings in a paper bag and use your magnifying glass to explore further. Meet in the Children’s Department onWednesday, June 18th at 10:30 a.m. For more information, call the Riverton Library at 856-3556. Registration is required.
Wind River Summer Safety Fair – Experience fire trucks, rollover crash simulator, DUI goggles, fire house, free child car seat inspections and a jaws of life demonstration from 3-7 p.m. at the Ethete Powwow grounds. Free food will be offered from 4-6 p.m.
Eagle Spirit Indian Dancer – The weekly event at the Musuem of the American West in Lander starts at 7 p.m. and goes until 8:30 p.m. Here is your chance to watch and learn authentic Indian traditional dances! The public is invited to dance “the friendship dance” along with the dancers at the end of their performance.

Sinks Canyon Pollinator Party – Join The Nature Conservancy, the University of Wyoming’s Biodiversity Institute and the Bureau of Land Management for the first Pollinator Party hosted near Lander in Sawmill Campground on Friday June 20 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. The Pollinator Party is free to the public and families are welcome. Dubois Friday Night Rodeo – The weekly rodeo gets started for the first time in 2014 at 8 p.m. at the Clarence Allison Memorial Arena. Admission is $7. For more information, call 307-262-6094.

VFW & Auxilliary Flea Market – VFW & Ladies Auxiliary Flea Market from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Radio Shack parking lot in Riverton.
Western Hiking Stick activity – Join the National Bighorn Sheep Interpretive Center staff to make an important hiking tool for all your outdoor adventures this summer. Willow sticks, crutch tips, decorations and tools are provided. This is a free activity for all ages. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. 307-455-2284.

Revival at Crowheart – The revival, brought by Riding High Ministries, starts at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday night, with more events through June 25. Chaplains from the PBR will preach. For more information, call Kayleene at 307-486-2321.
Lander Pride Picnic – On Sunday, June 22, friends and supporters will gather with the LGBTQ community at City Park for the first ever Lander Pride Picnic. The event, from 1-3 p.m., will feature local music and a potluck barbecue. Everyone is welcome to join in the fun: music, croquet, bocce ball, art and information. The Lander Running Club is organizing a Rainbow Run to coincide with the event.
