Students share History Day projects with County Museum boards before this week’s competition in D.C.

(Riverton, Wyo.) – This week, 11 Fremont County students are competing in the National History Day competition in Washington, D.C. Today is the last day of the competition. Good luck, students!

Last week, in preparation for the trip, four the students shared their projects with the Fremont County Museum Board and its meeting at the Riverton Museum, Museums Central Director Scott Goetz said.

Those four (and their projects) are: Noah Gans: Junior Division, Individual Performance, “The Homestead Act and American Democracy” James Whiting: Junior Division, Exhibit, “The Equality State” Sydney Polson and Sadie Thatch: Senior Division, Documentary, “A Question of Loyalty, Civil Rights and Responsibilities: Heart Mountain Draft Resisters.”
