Wyoming Thunder roars through Lander to honor veterans

(Lander, Wyo.) – The Wyoming Thunder Run roared through Lander this morning, several hundred motorcycles strong. Members of the Legacy Vets and Vietnam Vets Motorcycle Clubs and others gathered at the Shopko parking lot and rode down Main Street. The motorcycles stopped underneath the large flag hanging at Fourth and Main to say the Pledge of Allegiance.

From there, they rode to the Veterans Memorial in front of the Fremont County Courthouse for a memorial service. The group also presented plaques to Mayor Mick Wolfe, the Lander Police Department and the Lander Volunteer Fire Department for their support.
