Wednesday, July 23
Shakespeare Children’s Academy presents Julius Caesar – The show starts at 6 p.m. at Lander City Park. The public is encouraged to attend this family-friendly
Lander/Green Mountain Mule Deer Working Group Meeting – The will start at 6:15 p.m. at the Wyoming Game & Fish Lander Regional Office. Kevin Montieth, Assistant Professor of Zoology at the University of Wyoming, will be at the meeting to present information on mule deer ecology and his work in the Wyoming Range.
GOP Candidate Forum – The Lander forum starts at 7 p.m. in the Lander Valley High School Auditorium. County candidates have been invited, and some statewide candidates are expected to attend.
Andy Frasco and The U.N. concert – The band is performing at Bar 10 in Riverton starting at 8 p.m.

Magic Show – Magician Cody Landstrom is performing at the Fremont County Library in Riverton at 10:30 p.m. For more information, call the library at 856-3556.

Friday, July 25
65th annual National Art Show and Sale – The event is from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Headwaters Center in Dubois. Free to all WRVAG Members Non members: Adults – $2.00 Children under 12 – $0.50 Or $5.00 per Family.
Hayward Air Rally – The 50th annual California to Wisconsin Hawyward Air Rally is stopping in Lander on July 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. More than 35 planes will be stopping at Hunt Field for a barbecue and fuel stop. The public is invited to come to the airport and check out the planes.
Christmas in July – A Christmas celebration for seniors at Showboat Assisted Living Center in Lander starts at 2 p.m. There will be a reading of the Christmas story, Santa will attend and more.
Wyoming Shakespeare Festival presents The Merchant of Venice – Wyoming Shakespeare Festival Company, 6 p.m. at the historic Dennison Lodge at the Dubois Museum, 307-455-2284, Suggested Donation of $5.00.
Sinks Canyon Fireside Speakers Series – Mountain Lions is the topic as this week’s discussion led by Wyoming Game & Fish Department’s Stan Harter. After the talk folks can gather at the campfire, so attendees are encouraged to bring marshmallows to roast. Bring your favorite campfire story, too. Bench seating is available, but attendees may also bring their comfy camp chairs, water, bug spray, and sunscreen, if needed.
Live from the Dennison Lodge – The live music performances start at 7 p.m.
National Day of the Cowboy – The Friday night rodeo in Dubois celebrates National Day of the Cowboy starting at 8 p.m. at the Clarence Allison Arena. Admission is $8.

Tie Hack Tour in Dubois – Saturday July 26 at 9:00 am. Meet at the Dubois Museum for a free driving/hiking tour of Union Pass tie hack sites. Participants will carpool to the sites.
Parade Day 5k, Cycle or Swim – 1st Annual Parade Day 5K, Cycle or Swim celebration hosted by Fremont Therapy Group. Brooks Mountain Hike – Join WWA Staff for a long, gradual climb (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.) to the top of Brooks Mountain, from the trailhead off the Togwotee Pass highway. Bring a picnic lunch and spend time discussing the anniversary of Wilderness areas in the Bridger-Teton and Shoshone National Forests. Approximately 8 mile round trip. (moderate- strenuous).
National Day of the Cowboy Celebration in Dubois – Come and meet real cowboys, cowgirls, and their animals, take in the arts and crafts their lives have inspired. You can watch a Stagecoach Robbery @ 11am and then the cowboy parade starts at Noon. Watch a magician perform at the library BBQ, see a Quick Draw with artist Gary Keimig at 4pm, tour the galleries, sample a whiskey & wine tasting at 4-7pm, and dance to a country band after a western shoot-out at 5pm. Ride the Winds Motorcycle Poker Run – The run goes from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., with registration starting at 10 a.m. at the Wind River Hotel and Casino. See the calendar for additional information.
Fremont County Fair Parade – The parade will go down Riverton’s Main Street starting at 6 p.m.
Original Family Cowboy Poetry by Pete Davis – The National Day of the Cowboy celebrations continue at 7 p.m. in Lander at Museum of the American West with a free reading from Wyoming Poet Pete Davis. Free will offering will be taken for World Youth Day students traveling to Poland in 2016.

Pastor Candidate at United Presbyterian Church in Riverton – Dr. Rev. Thea McKee will be preaching at 10:30 a.m. followed by a brief congregational meeting and carry-in dinner.
