Lander sandwich shop owner pleads not guilty to sexually assaulting a minor
(Lander, Wyo.) – The Lander Subway restaurant owner pleaded not guilty to sexually assaulting one of his minor employees today in Wyoming’s Ninth District Court.
Robert Clark is charged with Sexual Abuse of a Minor in the Third Degree. The crime, should he be found guilty, is punishable by up to 15 years in prison and/or $10,000 in fines. He is currently out on a $15,000 cash bond.
Judge Norman E. Young has set Clark’s trial for Oct. 27, stacked behind 10 other cases. This means that if all 10 other cases are resolved before that trial date, his trial will take place. If any of the other cases go to trial, his will be rescheduled.
Clark is alleged to have engaged in mutual sexual acts in 2013 with a 17-year-old girl who was his employee at the time. Read additional information about the case here.
