Two injured in two-vehicle wreck in west Lander

(Lander, Wyo.) – A severe two-vehicle wreck at West Main and Amoretti streets is sending two people to SageWest – Lander. The male driver of a white and blue Chevy pick-up truck had to be extricated from the vehicle due to his door being the primary point of impact with a silver Jeep Liberty. One occupant of that vehicle, a female, is being treated. It was unclear whether she was the driver or a passenger.

While Lander Police are still investigating the scene, it appears the pickup was traveling from the Pit Stop gas station eastbound across Main Street onto Amoretti when it was struck by the southbound Jeep.

At the time of the crash, traffic was limited to one lane both north and south on West Main Street, and access to Amoretti Street blocked.

More information will be reported as it comes available.
