Memorial trees planted at Lander City Park for the Lewis girls
(Lander, Wyo.) – Memorial trees have been planted at Lander City Park for two young girls who were killed in a two-vehicle wreck this March. The trees for Olivia Wendolyn Lewis and Emma Sophia Lewis are planted next the main playground at the park.
The trees were donated by Wyoming Catholic College, where the girls’ father is employed.
“The College was grateful for the opportunity to help memorialize these two sweet girls near the park where they played with so many of our children,” WCC said in a statement to County10. “We hope that when people see these trees, they will remember to pray for the girls’ eternal happiness and for the consolation of their family.”
