Brooks Lake Road to have periodic closures for repairs beginning Tuesday for three weeks

(Dubois, Wyo.) – Brooks Lake Road above Dubois (Forest Road 515) will be closed periodically starting this Tuesday, August 5th.  The road will be closed from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm Tuesday through Thursday.  This closure is expected to last for the next three weeks.

The closure to Brooks Lake Road is to replace a culvert that recently failed. The location of the work will be roughly 2.5 miles from the junction with Highway 26/287.

Those wishing to travel the road to Brooks Lake are encouraged to call the Wind River District Office at 307-455-2466 to obtain the latest information on the status of the road.
