Leadership Fremont County seeking applicants for its 2014-15 class: Apply now

(Fremont County, Wyo.) – Leadership Fremont County’s class of 2014-15 is now seeking applicants for its series of nine sessions over a nine month-period across the county. The programs cover such skills as leadership, decision making, strategic planning and coalition building. Topics to be covered include area history, economic development, social-economic factors, tourism and marketing, education, plus Tribal history and relations.
Through this program, the participants will have an opportunity to become more aware of the dynamics of social and economic changes that impact Fremont County and the partnerships and resources that are available to deal with those changes.
The purpose of Leadership Fremont County is to introduce established and prospective leaders to the great community of Fremont County, identify individuals who have displayed a strong tendency toward civic involvement, and assist them in developing their potential to become community leaders.

The 2014-15 class begins on September 11th and concludes with graduation in June 2015.
Leadership Fremont County was founded in 2003 by a joint steering committee comprised of representatives from the Riverton and Lander Chambers of Commerce, the Wind River Reservation, the Dubois Community Project, the cities of Lander and Riverton, the National Outdoor Leadership School and Central Wyoming College.
