FCSD #1 – Hiring Payroll/Insurance Manager – Lander
(Lander, Wyo.) – This is an 8 hour per day, benefited, classified position that administers all aspects of the payroll and benefits function for the district.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of the monthly payroll for the district
- Administration of the various employee benefits offered by the district
- Preparing a variety of District, State and Federal reports
- Working closely with a variety of internal and external parties for the purpose of ensuring accurate payroll processing
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. It is desired that candidates have job related experience; knowledge of payroll processes, rules, regulations, and laws; be able to learn how to use the district’s business software (Software Unlimited) quickly; have a strong background with Microsoft Office applications; have good human relations skills; and be able to work effectively as part of a team.
