Winter Weather Advisory posted for Southern Fremont County tonight

The National Weather Service Forecast Office at Riverton Regional Airport has posted a Winter Weather Advisory for Southern Fremont County and points east for this afternoon through tomorrow morning:

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 5 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO
7 AM MST WEDNESDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN RIVERTON HAS ISSUED A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT
FROM 5 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 7 AM MST WEDNESDAY.

* TIMING...SNOW WILL INCREASE ACROSS SOUTHERN FREMONT COUNTY THIS
  EVENING THEN TAPER OFF WEDNESDAY MORNING.

* SNOWFALL...SNOWFALL OF 2 TO LOCALLY 5 INCHES IN THE LOWER
  ELEVATIONS WITH AROUND 8 INCHES IN THE GREEN MOUNTAINS.

* WIND AND VISIBILITY...NORTHEAST WINDS OF 15 TO 25 MPH WITH
  HIGHER GUSTS WILL CAUSE SOME DRIFTING SNOW. VISIBILITY WILL BE
  BELOW A QUARTER MILE AT TIMES.

* MAIN IMPACT...ROADS ACROSS SOUTHERN FREMONT COUNTY WILL BECOME
  SLICK SNOW PACKED AND ICY...INCLUDING HIGHWAY 287 FROM MUDDY
  GAP TO BEAVER RIM.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW
WILL CAUSE PRIMARILY TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SNOW
