Michael S. Kenyon, 45 passed away on October 26, 2015 from an accident at his home in Pine Haven, Wyoming. A private family viewing will be held on November 4, 2015 at 10:00 am. followed by an informal celebration of life and luncheon to be held at the Camplex Heritage Center Lobby at noon.
(Shoshoni, Wyo.) – A 26-year-old Indiana woman was cited Wednesday evening after she apparently attempted to swerve out of the way of an antelope on the highway and rolled her gray Ford F-150 that was pulling a 30 foot camper trailer. Wyoming Highway Patrol Lt. Lee Pence Thursday afternoon said that there were five occupants in the pickup, and that only one of them was in a seat restraint. The family was heading northbound toward Shoshoni at the time of the crash.
Ellen Kenyon, 75, of Shoshoni died on Tuesday, October 27, 2015, in Rock Springs after a long illness. As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are scheduled at this time.

(Shoshoni, Wyo.) – Frances Carl Ford passed peacefully at his home surrounded by family on October 7, 2015 at the age of 87. Funeral will be conducted by Barkes Inlow Weaver Funeral Home at 1029 Washington St in Columbus, IN. A viewing will be held from 4-8 PM on Monday October 12th and Services will be conducted at 10AM Tuesday October 13th. Interment will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh, IN.
(Shoshoni, Wyo.) – Funeral services for Dorothy M. Slagowski, 90, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 16, 2015 at Davis Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Shoshoni, Wyoming. A visitation will be held 9:00 a.m. until service time on Friday at the Davis Funeral Home.
Robert G. Dornblaser, 90, of Shoshoni, died at the VA Hospital in Cheyenne, WY on Sunday, October 4, 2015. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
(Shoshoni, Wyo.) – Dave Wood, 48, passed away September 2, 2015 at his home following a short battle with brain cancer. He was born December 24, 1966 in Worland, Wyoming the son of the late Alfred and Virginia Wood.
Jeremy R. Heckert, 38, formerly of Shoshoni, died Friday, July 10, near Sand Point, ID. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Aug.22 at the Senior Citizen Center, 209 Main, in Shoshoni.

(Shoshoni, Wyo.) – Photos of the mud and rockslide areas inside the Wind River Canyon were taken from an aircraft Tuesday morning by Dustin Taylor, a passenger in a plane piloted by Darren Bailey. The photos show the scope of the rockslides, especially their impact on the Burlington Northern Sante Fe railroad that runs through the west side of the canyon. Highway 20/789 is shown as WYDOT crews cleaned the debris from the roadway.

(Shoshoni, Wyo.) – Six injuries are being reported after a 1999 Jeep collided with a rock on US Highway 20 in the Wind River Canyon on Sunday, March 22nd. The crash occurred at approximately 10:00 p.m. near mile post 117 on US 20 in Fremont County north of the tunnels in the Wind River Canyon.
