(Riverton, Wyo.) – The Central Wyoming College Volleyball Rustlers battled hard against conference opponent Western Wyoming on Wednesday night, but eventually lost in 5 sets.  The Rustlers started off a little slow in the first set, but came back winning the next two sets.  Rylee Burmester led the team with 16 kills and 20 assists.  Teammates, Kayla Coles and Tamara Lukic, each had 15 kills.  Naz Sahin (setter) finished the night with 36 assists.

Central is now 1-1 in conference play.

“It was a learning experience — I’m proud of them for getting it to five sets.  I think we got a little complacent.  We have to learn how to finish games.  When we’re playing well, we’re relaxed and believe in ourselves.  We did better with our serves tonight, and our tempo.  The biggest takeaway is that we never want to feel like that again,” said Coach Darshaya Gallard.
