Wyoming Indian Elementary School staff members, including Speech-Language Pathologist Lindsay Bierma-Curran are helping to put together an opportunity for Ethete-area students and residents have easier access to new and used books.

Bierma-Curran explained,

We hope to have four mini libraries in the villages throughout Ethete by this summer. The mini libraries will be little book houses. They kind of look like bird houses but will be full of books.

Currently, there is a drop off location at Mr. D’s in Lander for folks who would like to donate new or gently used books. The group is efforting a drop-off location for Riverton in the near future.

Additionally, they’re hoping to have some help in building materials to construct the “book houses.” For questions and more information, you can contact Lindsay at 308-636-8376.
